Spicy Sausage Cheese Bread
4 cups self-rising flour
1 (1/3) cups milk
1 lb. Andouille sausage, (or other smoked sausage), sliced thin
6 slices bacon, fried crisp, drained, and crumbled
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup jalapeno slices, (jarred variety)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp, salt
1/3 cup each of green onions, green bell peppers, and onions, chopped
Saute the sausage in a large skillet until browned, about 10 minutes. Add the green onions, peppers, onions, seasonings, and jalapenos, and saute for 5 more minutes.
In large bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add milk and mix until moistened.
Add the sausage-veggie mixture and the cooked and crumbled bacon and mix thoroughly. Spray a pull apart bread pan or a 13x9 baking pan with cooking spray and spread dough evenly in pan. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for about 25 minutes . Fab!

Good looking dish Marguerite and I always like it when you post a little dancing.
That bread looks amazing! Pinning.
Wow! It sure fills the bill!
Hope all is well with you. I was just thinking about you today. I wanted a recipe that would use andouille, and remembered how much I liked your Mardi GRAS jambalaya.
Hope all is going well. I always enjoy dropping in on your blog ; )
Hi Marguerite, just recently came across your blog & I am so enjoying following! I'm not far from you in Alexandria :) keep the great pics & recipes coming!
I just stumbled upon your wonderful blog. My husband is from Louisianna and has thoroughly enjoyed the Cajun music. I've enjoyed your recipes and look forward to trying some. Finally figured out how to follow you.
Hi you elusive creature! I was getting very hungry waiting for the next Marguerite dish!! Very appetizing it is too. Also I enjoyed the dancing - great to see people enjoy themselves - particularly a red head there who was really enjoying life and looked as though she could keep it up all day. Where do yo all get your energy?
Glad to see you are back in action! This sausage bread would make a great appetizer. Definitely a football day kind of recipe.
Cheers.

Love your recipes! I can't wait to try many of them. I have to ask about your car photo. Is it an amphibious car? My mother had a friend with one. She tells stories of outings on the lake. Stop by and see me sometime.
Wow, that sounds absolutely fabulous. I fly home on the 16th from a five month stay in Jaipur, India and I can't wait to make that for Thanksgiving football watching. I know my behemoth sons will love it. I've lost 30 lbs during my two India visits so I'll be good and just allow myself a taste or two ( I hope ).
Did you get settled in from your move? I would hate to think I had to move 25 years of stuff!!!!
Finally made this! It was great!!
