Here are a few of my favorite recipes that are perfect for your New Year's celebration! I will be hosting a casual New Year's Day buffet for my family and friends and it will be quite a spread,
packed with delectable Cajun and Creole delights. Here is what I have so far and who knows what else I'll be adding. Bon appetit and Happy New Year, cher!

every time I see a ham with cherries I remember my aunt once made one with green and red cherries and the person who got a piece of ham with green dye on it wouldn't eat it even though they knew it came from the cherry, Ha. Happy New year to you.
Oh Yes! Everything looks scrumptious, even the table. Happy New Year. Thanks for sharing such marvelous dishes from Cajun country. We're all richer for this.
It all looks good, but the corn muffins have been added to our New Years menu.
Marguerite- your menu sounds delicious!
You are such a good cook.
I hope you have a BLESSED New Year!

The best recipes sure stand the test of time but you poor dear slaving away in the kitchen year after year. I really think you should take a rest next year and get someone else to do it and that will give you lots time to enjoy yourself for a change.
What no dancing this week either!
