Louisiana Hot Sauce Tour
What do you get when you have two master bluesmen playing a gig in one club, packed with Cajuns, in downtown Lafayette? One hellava good time, cher, oh the fun!! Nitetown night club was the scene Friday night, for the Louisiana Hot Sauce Tour, featuring two of the best Southern blues musicians in the country! The place was packed to the gills with happy fans!
One of the greats performing was Kenny Neal, who was born in New Orleans, and is the son of master bluesman, Raful Neal. Kenny has mastered the art of the harmonica, bass, trumpet, piano, and guitar, making him one of the masters of the genre. Kenny and his hotter than hot band were getting down!
Born in Baton Rouge, Tab Benoit rocked the packed house with his eclectic style of swamp and soul, blues guitar, mixed up with a little Chicago blues. When I tell you that he is good, cher, you know that I mean it! Tab was letting his hair down at this great show. Let the good times roll, cher!
Grab a cold drink and enjoy these fabulous bayou blues! Cheers, ya'll!!

Okay now seriously. Those stuffed mushrooms. It's nine o'clock in the morning, and I could definitely have them for breakfast, they look so good.
Crab stuffed mushrooms are the best thing ever. I don't think I'd be able to share these :)
These babies would last about 3 seconds into the game on game day!!
They look delicious. Think I will make them on an un-game day for me and B.
I listened to the Kenny Neal clip, definitely cold beer music.
Thank you Marguerite!! My Hubby craves these! Now I can make them for him and me!! :)
Yeah, so what's everyone else gonna eat?
I have never told you, but I love all your music clips you hunt down for us.
I didn't blog about it, but I did spend three hours learning cajun dancing (nothing much sadder than to see me dancing, but i try). Three nights during our trip, we ventured off the quarter to Frenchman Street and pretended we fit in (ordered beer instead of Sazerac)... So much fun
Wow, I was thinking this is sinfully rich, but when you baked them, ok, it not that sinful :)
This is so special, a good hors d'oeuvre too for my daughter's party.
And I'd enjoy this anytime too.
I added this to my StumbleIt.
Joanne- Thanks, cher! Sometimes I add chopped shrimp and stuff into portabella mushrooms! Definitely brunch material.
Cathy- They are one of my favorites, too. That's why you have to double the recipe. Half for you and half for everyone else! lol

John- So glad you liked it, cher! Cheers! Thanks for stopping by!
There you go again -making me hungry. However, I'm thinking I might actually be able to fix these mushrooms and then, be able to slide a little crab meat into my daughter at the same time. Let her find out that way how scrumpdelicious crab meat really is, huh?

Carol- Thanks, so glad that you like them. Sinful, cher!
