Happy New year Marguerite,
I am so pleased I met you in BlogLand in 2009. Just love visiting you and seeing you when you visit my place.
With someone so nice it is not difficult for me to think of loads of lovely comments to leave on your posts. You are a lovely lady!
Hugs and my very best wishes for 2010. Thank you for always being such a good sport. There seems to be a nucleus of really nice people in the blogging community and I count you as one of them. It would indeed be very nice to have a Cajun Waltz with you one day ~ Eddie X
Oh, Marguerite, the guys do love it when you speak french to us...
Oh, but I am not a hair of the dog guy... could not take one of those on the morning after... two days later, for lunch... sounds great!
Happy New Year Marguerite! Thanks for the good food, and the lovely images.
Yummy yummy yummy I look forward to more food from you in 2010!
Happy New Year, cherie!
(pardon my French, I took Espanol)
Happy new year. Lovely blog, you young 'uns keep us old uns alive. By the way, what do you free lance about. Any room in the old USA for articles by geriatric Englishmen!
Happy New Year to you and yours! And please keep me drooling over the coming year with all the recipes and fantastic pictures of some really super yummy looking foods!
Oh, gosh, your blog is always so much fun. That drink is similar to my favorite, a Bloody Caesar:
1 1/2 oz vodka
Mott's Clamato juice
3 dashes Tabasco® sauce
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Line the rim of a glass with salt and pepper. Over ice, add vodka, fill with clamato juice, then add the remaining ingredients. Garnish with a celery stick. Add more tabasco sauce if desired.
It was invented in Canada, and it's difficult to find Bloody Caesar's in the U.S. But they're delicious!
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Cheers,
Jo

Am catching up with your blog and looking at all the scrumptious food you posted. I hope and am sure you had a great Christmas and New Year. I saw snow just before we flew back to Atlanta, so that was nice. Since then we have been packing the kitchen as the workers will be here on Monday to take off the floor and fix the leak, then install new flooring. We were doing the packing on New Year’s eve but I had time on New Year’s day to cook Hoppin john for good luck. I hope you will have a great 2010 chère Marguerite with much happiness and with everything good going your way,
